A Textbook Case for Transparency

NOT.

Check this out via Gizmodo.

Typically, the goal of having a ratings system is so users can chant to the hilltops about how great your products is to use. Some companies even use rating systems so they can figure out what their customers like and dislike in their products. Then they take this information to improve their future products. What is mindboggling about this Apple situation, is that they have a virtually free method to get quality feedback information and a direct link to their customers. Mind you these are normal customers, Apple customers tend to be the most rabid customers for ANY product. So basically, you are telling them go tell someone else.

Well Apple in case you haven't gotten a clue yet, people have a different kind of voice now. I expect this to blow up. I'll keep you posted.
